If you are travelling to Outback QLD during the Easter holidays, we recommend you put Roma on your list. Roma’s Annual Easter Extravaganza is held annually and is suitable for all ages! Australia Day at the Lion’s Park
In true Aussie fashion, Roma’s Heart Church will be hosting a community cricket game and sausage sizzle open to the public to celebrate Australia Day in 2020. Drinks and fairy floss will be available for purchase. The event will commence at 9:30 am on Sunday, 26th January 2020.
Roma Bush Gardens
The Roma Bush Gardens are home to 14 hectares of native Australian flora and fauna. The gardens are the perfect destination for beautiful views and learning about nature. Additionally, you can engage in family-friendly activities such as spotting wildlife, birdwatching and family picnics.
Roma Cattle Saleyards
When travelling to Roma, our advice is to ensure you are here on a Tuesday or Thursday. Why, you may wonder? Well, the Roma Cattle Saleyards are open to the public from 9:30 am on these days. You can watch the cattle being sold and learn how the process has evolved over time, while the kids marvel at the beautiful cattle. The raised walkways provide great views of the cattle!
