No spare toilet roll, only peppermint tea, 1 bottle of water. ( nothing had been restocked) Previous guest had left items behind. Bathroom floor tiles were absolutely putrid with mould. Looked like under the bed had not been cleaned in months. Dining table also had not been cleaned.
Door handle to enter the room was ready to fall off.

Having then missed the turn to Roma (that will teach me for chatting away and not paying attention), we were going to be much, much later - and again the staff were so helpful and said that they would leave the key in the room and they text us all the details. This took the worry of getting their after the restaurant closed off my mind.

Getting into the room around 11pm, I was pleased to find a very clean room and a comfortable bed waiting. The bathroom towels were of good quality and the amenities were generous. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad either. In the country where water is a valuable commodity, it was completely understandable that the pressure isn’t what you’d get in the city.

We didn’t eat in the restaurant or enjoy any of the other facilities, but given the attention to detail for everything else at the Roma Explorers Inn, I would assume they would all be top notch. The plan in the morning was to visit the Roma Saleyards for their tour - and the Roma Explorers Inn was only a stone throw away.

All in all, we enjoyed our short stay and if I was ever looking to stay in Roma again, I wouldn’t look any further than the Roma Explorers Inn.

From my initial phone call to the... read more end of the second day of training, Janelle made the whole process easy and professional while ensuring that we had what we needed, when we needed it. I felt I was in good hands and appreciate the effort involved. I cannot recommend this facility high enough and to find that in a regional area was wonderful. I will most certainly be using this service again in the very near future.

  I travel to Roma frequently and rate this as my favourite place to stay, always welcoming with comfortable beds and a lovely restaurant. The room as are clean and... read more fresh. The staff are always helpful and friendly. After a long drive a great place for a night or two.

Has a restaurant on site but was already fully booked when I checked in a 1430 hours so either book ahead, go elsewhere, get delivery or go to shops and buy something to cook. It is a few km out of town so not a walk to town place. Biggest issue is the lack of cellular coverage here. While wifi is free, it is terribly slow. I have both Optus and Telstra phones and had no network coverage here despite only a few kms from the centre of Roma. Good for those not wanting a call, but clearly not ideal for most.
